Octagon, the preeminent talent management, integrated marketing, and creative agency in global sports and entertainment, today announced the signing of eight-time Grand Slam Champion, and current world No. 2 Barbora Krejčíková. Krejčíková’s management will be overseen by a team at Octagon Tennis, jointly led by Senior Vice Presidents of the division, Alastair Garland and Jorge Salkeld.

Since making her tour debut in 2014, Krejčíková has amassed an impressive 12 WTA singles and doubles titles. Krejčíková also won both the singles and doubles championships at the 2021 French Open.

In addition to her No. 2 singles ranking, Krejčíková is currently ranked world No. 3 in doubles, following her recent victory at the 2022 Australian Open Women’s doubles event. Krejčíková is a three-time Australian Open Mixed Doubles winner, two-time French Open Women’s Doubles winner, and a 2018 Wimbledon Women’s Doubles winner. She is also one of only three active female singles players to hold a Grand Slam title in all three disciplines, joining Serena and Venus Williams in the incredible achievement.

As part of the new partnership, Octagon has secured a new on-court clothing and footwear sponsorship deal for Krejčíková with FILA, one of the most iconic brands in tennis whose footwear and apparel has been worn by some of the most well-recognized and successful players in history. Krejčíková will join FILA’s talented roster of the sport’s most high-profile players, and Krejcikova will make her FILA debut at Roland Garros, where she is the defending champion, sporting the Center Court Collection.

“We are thrilled to have Barbora join our elite Octagon Tennis family,” said Garland. “She is a world-class talent and a champion on every level. We look forward to building on Barbora’s on-court success, by maximizing her off-court revenue potential. Having already secured a clothing and footwear partnership with FILA, we look forward to our next objective by formalizing her racket partnership.”

“For a long time, I have been thinking about securing a specialist to help me with my marketing and PR goals. After much consideration and the recommendation of many, I have decided to work with Octagon, whose global reach, long history in tennis and client-first approach has always set them apart from the rest of the industry,” said Krejčíková. “Partnering with Octagon will allow me to continue to grow my brand and enhance my relationship and communications with fans around the world. I’m excited about the many opportunities ahead and look forward to working with the team.”

The Czech native won her first Gold Medal in women’s doubles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and she was a part of the Czech team that won the 2018 Fed Cup.
