Karolína Plíšková

Karolína Plíšková has been climbing the WTA rankings since winning a Junior Grand Slam in Australia in 2010.  She broke into the WTA Top 10 in 2015 and in 2017 she reached a career-high ranking of No. 1 in the world.  She reached her first women’s Grand Slam final at the 2016 US Open, a tournament which saw her defeat both Williams sisters.  Plíšková earned three titles in 2017 at Brisbane, Doha, and Eastbourne.  In 2019 she won the title at Brisbane and in 2018 at Stuttgart and Tokyo.  She holds a total of twelve WTA singles titles and five WTA doubles titles (Nottingham, Nürnberg, Bad Gastein, Hong Kong, and Linz).  For three of the doubles titles, Karolína partnered up with her twin sister Kristýna, and together they became the first twins in the WTA history to win doubles titles.  Nicknamed the “Queen of Aces,” Karolína finished her third top 10 season in 2018 (finishing No. 8) and is currently holding her spot in the top 5 for singles.

David Goffin

David Goffin, nicknamed “Lagoff”, finished 2017 with a year-end best No. 7 ranking, making him the highest-ranked player from Belgium in the history of year-end ATP rankings.  In 2016 Goffin reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros and back-to-back ATP Masters 1000 semifinals at Indian Wells and Miami.  In 2018, Goffin reached the ATP Masters 1000 semifinals at Cincinnati by defeating Anderson and Del Potro in the same day.  In the same year he reached the quarterfinals at both ATP Masters 1000 Monte-Carlo and Rome events.  In 2019 Goffin advanced to the third round at the Australian Open and won his first ATP Tour doubles title at Doha with Herbert. In 2020 Goffin broke back into the FedEx ATP Tour top 10 rankings.  He led his country to the final of the Davis Cup in 2015 and he represented Belgium in the Rio Olympics.  He enjoys playing golf, traveling and beautiful watches.

Frances Tiafoe, a professional tennis player on the ATP Tour, is a young talent on the rise.  At only 22 years of age, Tiafoe has reached a career high ranking of 29 in the world.  At the junior level, Tiafoe was the youngest player to win the Orange Bowl and also won the USTA Junior National Championship.  Since his pro debut at 16 years old, Frances has climbed the rankings and gained attention with his aggressive game and big personality.  In 2018, he won his first ATP title at the Delray Beach Open, reached the finals of the ATP event in Estoril, and participated in the ATP NextGen Finals in Milan which features the best players on the ATP Tour who are 21 and under at the end of the regular season.  He was also tapped to play for the United States in the 2018 Davis Cup earning a semifinal tie.  In 2019 he reached the quarterfinals of both the Miami Open and the Austrialian Open, becoming the youngest American Grand Slam quarter-finalist since Andy Roddick, 20, at 2003 Wimbledon. Tiafoe’s motivation comes from his inspirational life story and he aims to inspire others through his play.
