We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Hospitality Manager to lead the planning and execution of premium hospitality programs for our brand partners at world-class sports and entertainment events, with a primary focus on golf.

In this role, you will support the development and execution of high-end guest programs for one of our key golf clients. You will bring a strong understanding of luxury hospitality, customer hosting, in-person event operations, and client management. Success in this position requires the ability to work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver premium service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
You will be responsible for end-to-end program delivery, including sourcing and managing local suppliers and vendors, overseeing logistics planning, and executing programs on-site. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. You enjoy traveling, adapt quickly, and take pride in delivering flawless events under pressure.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO
Hospitality & Event Management
- Strategic and operational planning of C-suite level hospitality programs offering unique content, experience, and best-in-class delivery
- Senior client stakeholder and rights holder management and coordination
- Logistical planning of detailed hospitality packages, including (but not limited to) tickets, décor, talent appearances, accommodation, transportation, food and beverage, production elements and cultural experiences
- Event development including (but not limited to) scheduling, logistics, health and safety, insurance, creative production, and briefing documentation providing in-depth brand relevant content and insight
- Guest Management through online GMS/CRM tools and databases including invitation development, direct guest communications, travel booking, and live tracking
- Research, procure, and contract relevant third-party suppliers and vendors
- Financial account management including the creation of budgets, tracking, and reconciliation
- Development and delivery of pre- and post-event reporting
- On-site management and hosting of C-suite level guests
- Management of direct reports (as assigned)
Client Services & Account Management
- Leadership of client relationships, day-to-day account management, project management, internal team coordination
- Proactive thinking to foresee challenges and propose solutions before they arise
- Financial management of invoices, vendor payments, budget tracking documents, and reporting and reconciliation on overall project finances
- Coordination with other global Octagon account teams to ensure efficiencies and best practices across regions
- Management of junior account staff, overseeing specific project workstream deliverables

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 6-8 years of experience in related events field; past hospitality experience preferred
- A passion for sports, travel, entertainment, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture will make you a good Octagon fit
- A self-starter who can balance multiple projects on tight deadlines simultaneously
- A sense of humor and the ability to tell a good story; we like to laugh
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Always one or 10 steps ahead; always thinking forward and figuring out answers and solutions before they become questions or challenges
- A go-getter who demonstrates initiative and embraces new challenges (there will be plenty of last-minute client requests)
- Ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A master of the Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Proficiency with CRM systems for registration and guest communications
- Though not a requirement, a second language is a plus
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically, and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)
- You can lift to 50 lbs. and stand for up to or more than eight hours at a time

The base range for this position is $65,000 – 75,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background pertinent experience, and qualifications
