World & Olympic Record Holder Joins Leading Olympics Agency;
Canadian Star Recognized as One of the Biggest Stories Heading into LA28

Portland, ME – May 25, 2026 – Global sports and entertainment marketing leader Octagon today announced the signing of Canadian swimming superstar Summer McIntosh, the three-time Olympic champion and multiple world-record holder who made history at the Paris 2024 Games and 2025 World Aquatics Championships, to a full representation agreement.

McIntosh, 19, is one of the most versatile swimmers in the world who has established herself as one of the brightest stars in international sports. A four-time Olympic medalist at the Paris 2024 Games, McIntosh is the
first Canadian athlete to win three gold medals (200m butterfly, 200m IM, 400m IM) at a single Games while capturing a silver medal (400m freestyle) and setting two Olympic records (200m butterfly, 200m IM).

A two-time World Aquatics Female Swimmer of the Year (2025, 2024), she won four individual gold medals (200m butterfly, 200m IM, 400m IM, 400m freestyle) as well as a bronze medal (800m freestyle) at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, becoming the first Canadian to capture four individual world titles at a single Championship. McIntosh is the first swimmer to set three World Records in a single meet since Beijing 2008 (Michael Phelps) and the first female swimmer to do so since Sydney 2000 (Inge de Bruijn).

“Summer has cemented herself as a generational talent with appeal that extends across Canada and well beyond,” said Peter Carlisle, Octagon’s Managing Director of Olympics. “She’s a bona fide star across a range of events that has not been seen before in women’s swimming and possesses an engaging and charismatic personality that resonates with consumers, media, and brands across the globe. Summer has a
healthy portfolio of corporate partners, and we see a long runway for sustained competitive success and global commercial growth as she pursues her goals and dreams in and out of the pool.”

McIntosh, born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, made her Olympic debut at the age of 14 as the youngest member of Team Canada at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she finished fourth in the 400m freestyle. She followed with her first World Aquatics Championships in Budapest in 2022, where she won two golds (200m butterfly, 400m IM), one silver (400m freestyle), and a bronze (4×200 free relay). At the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, she captured two gold medals (200m butterfly, 400m IM) and two bronze medals (200m freestyle, 4×100 medley relay).

“I am excited to partner with Octagon as they have a proven track record working with many of the world’s leading Olympic athletes,” said McIntosh. “They understand how to support my training and competition requirements while working with me to develop a long-term strategy that will help me maximize athletic success. I am fortunate to have a great team of people around me and supportive corporate partners, and adding Octagon to my team is going to help me continue to pursue my dreams while balancing all the demands leading into LA28 and beyond.”

McIntosh, who is now training in Austin, TX under the tutelage of Hall of Fame swim coach and University of Texas Director of Swimming and Diving Bob Bowman, holds multiple long course world records (400m freestyle, 200m IM, 400m IM) and short course world records (400m freestyle, 200m butterfly, 400m IM). She received the 2024 Northern Star Award as Canada’s Female Athlete of the Year and was named the 2024 Canadian Press Female Athlete of the Year.

“Summer’s range and mindset is exceptional,” said Bowman. “She has the proven ability to be successful at the highest levels across butterfly, medley, and freestyle because she pairs her natural talent with great habits.

Our program in Austin is designed to support world-class professionals, and with Octagon helping to manage her commercial opportunities tailored to her performance needs, she’ll have the opportunity to pursue her ambitious goals through LA28 and beyond.”

McIntosh, who was named to the TIME100 Next 2024 and Forbes 2025 ’30 Under 30’ lists in recognition as one of the emerging leaders shaping the future, brings a category-leading portfolio of global partners across performance, lifestyle, luxury and financial services, including Arena, lululemon, Red Bull, TAG Heuer, RBC, and Air Canada among others.
