Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist and Trailblazing Broadcaster Signs with Octagon for Exclusive Representation

Octagon, the preeminent talent management, integrated marketing, and creative agency in global sports and entertainment, today announced the signing of U.S. women’s soccer legend and broadcaster Aly Wagner. Wagner will be represented by Jeremy Aisenberg, Vice President of Octagon’s Strategic Initiatives division, and Alex Singer, Director of Strategic Initiatives. Octagon will hold the exclusive right to develop, negotiate, and manage Wagner’s marketing opportunities, media agreements, and content creation for platform distribution.

A two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup veteran, Wagner competed for the United States for nearly a decade and is one of the most respected voices in the sport. During the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Wagner made history as the first woman ever to call a men’s FIFA World Cup match, which included two quarterfinals, on U.S. English-language television. Wagner, who currently works at FOX Sports and CBS Sports, led FOX’s extensive coverage of the 2019 Women’s World Cup, has served as an analyst for NBC Sports’ coverage of the Olympics, and served as the primary analyst for Lifetime during the 2022 NWSL Draft.

Wagner is currently spearheading the effort to bring an NWSL team to the Bay Area as part of a star-powered ownership group consisting of celebrities and tech executives, including former USWNT teammates Brandi Chastain, Leslie Osborne, and Danielle Slaton. An alum of Santa Clara University, where she led the team to an NCAA National Championship, Wagner has seen firsthand the level of talent that has come from this region and the amount that has been invested in youth development in the sport. Following the success of Angel City FC and San Diego Wave FC, Wagner hopes to continue ushering in a new era of women’s soccer in her home state of California.

“Aly has proven herself as a trailblazer and leader in broadcasting, media, and content development,” said Aisenberg. “As a legend of the game, mother, team owner, and more, Aly has accomplished a great deal following her historic career on the field, and we are incredibly excited to be a part of her unique story. We are thrilled to welcome her to Octagon.”

Off the field, Wagner is married to Adam Eyre, a former player for the MLS’s New England Revolution, and has triplet sons and one daughter.
