Two-time NCAA Champion, World Championship Bronze Medalist & American Record Holder is Poised to Challenge Multi-event Records

Portland, ME – May 24, 2023 – Octagon today announced the signing of two-time NCAA National Champion and Olympic hopeful Anna Hall to an exclusive marketing representation agreement. The 2022 World Champion Bronze medalist in the heptathlon, Hall turned professional in August of 2022 and signed with Paul Doyle of Atlanta-based Doyle Management to manage her track and field career.

Hall, 22, is the first American to medal in the heptathlon at the World Championships in more than 20 years (Burrell, 2001) and is the third-highest scoring American heptathlete of all-time behind only Jackie Joyner-Kersee (WR, 1988 Seoul Olympics) and Jane Fredrick (1984). Hall also shattered the American Pentathlon record at the 2022 U.S. Indoor Championships while becoming only the third athlete in history to eclipse 5,000 points en route to winning the national indoor title and is now the fourth-highest pentathlon-scoring athlete in the world. In addition to her multi-event accomplishments, Hall captured the 2023 USATF Indoor National title in the 400m and was the 2022 NCAA Silver medalist in the 400m hurdles.

“There are many talented athletes in the Olympic space but it’s not often that an athlete like Anna comes along with the real opportunity to make history and transcend her sport,” said Peter Carlisle, Octagon’s Managing Director of Olympics & Action Sports and Senior Vice President of Individual Sports Marketing. “Her sheer talent to compete in the most grueling discipline within track and field combined with her motivation to challenge on the individual side of the sport is truly compelling. Anna is a remarkable young woman with a tremendous family, she is poised to inspire sports fans around the world.”

A finalist for The Bowerman, which recognizes the most outstanding collegiate track and field performer of the year, Hall helped lead the University of Florida to its first-ever NCAA Women’s Outdoor Team Championship and only its second-ever NCAA Women’s Indoor Team Championship in 2022.

“Anna is a rare athlete with skills and determination that help her excel on and off the track,” said Paul Doyle, CEO of Doyle Management. “She has a unique opportunity to leave her mark on this sport and the expertise Octagon has to offer will help maximize her potential over the course of her career and beyond.”

“I am extremely excited to be represented by Octagon,” said Anna Hall. “I am looking forward to not only continuing to chase my very big dreams on the track but also using my experiences along the way to leave an impact that goes beyond track and field.”

A native of Greenwood Village, CO, Hall has a multi-year partnership with Adidas and is currently training for the 2023 World Championships with long-term aspirations for Paris 2024 and LA 2028. Off the track, she is in the process of completing her undergraduate degree in finance and maintains passions including journaling, fashion, body confidence, financial literacy, and mental health among others.
