OCTAGON EXPANDS SKIING PRESENCE WITH VETERAN AGENT ERICA VESSEY

Portland, ME – February 11, 2025 – Global sports and entertainment marketing leader Octagon today announced the addition of veteran agent Erica Vessey who specializes in the marketing and management of leading skiing and cycling athletes. Vessey joins the agency along with skiers Lauren Macuga, Alli Macuga, Sam Macuga, Paula Moltzan, Hannah Kearney, Ryan Cochran-Siegle, and Ted Ligety as well as cycling clients Savilia Blunk and Kelsey Urban among others.

As Octagon’s Director of Skiing and Cycling, Vessey will work to expand the company’s footprint in both sports while continuing to lead the marketing and management of her existing clients. A seasoned sports marketing professional with more than 15 years of experience working with individual sport athletes, Vessey founded True North Sports Management and Consulting where she specialized in developing commercial opportunities through strategic corporate partnerships, content creation, and contract negotiation and execution.

Prior to establishing True North, Vessey served as the Marketing Director at J Kenneth Sowles, P.C. in Burlington, VT for more than a decade. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and began her professional career in coaching as the Associate Head Coach for the ski team at her alma mater.
