STAMFORD, Conn. – June 6, 2024 – Octagon today announced the elevation of Marianne Rotole to Chief Growth Officer of Marketing in North America. Rotole will continue to report directly to Lou Kovacs, President of Marketing, North America.

In the expanded role, Rotole will drive new business and development efforts across the agency’s brand marketing, consulting, and creative divisions throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Previously, Rotole served as Executive Vice President, Client Services, for Octagon, overseeing the successful development and execution of key sponsorships and programs for some of the agency’s biggest clients, including Bank of America, GEICO, General Mills, Taco Bell, The Home Depot, and many more.

“Marianne has been an instrumental figure in Octagon’s efforts across North America and beyond for nearly two decades, leading our team members and working alongside our clients as we strive to take them to new levels of consumer engagement and marketing success each day,” said Kovacs. “Her wealth of experience and remarkable relationships across sports and entertainment make her the ideal executive to continue to grow our tremendous client base and create new business opportunities with brands, leagues, teams, and many others.”

“I am incredibly excited to take on the expanded role of Chief Growth Officer, as we continue to cultivate and forge new business partnerships with many of the most notable brands throughout North America,” said Rotole. “In my 14 years with Octagon, I’ve had the great fortune to consult, advise, direct, and execute the sports and entertainment marketing efforts for a suite of remarkable brands. I look forward to continuing to share and harness that insight, working alongside our highly talented team to advance our profile and offerings throughout the industry. The next few years will be especially exciting as our vast expertise in international soccer, Olympics, motorsports, and golf will play a critical role surrounding some of the biggest events in sports coming to North America. The timing for this career opportunity could not be more ideal.”

Prior to joining Octagon, Rotole led marketing and communications efforts for a variety of major industry brands and properties, including as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and eight years in Public Relations and Communications for the Chicago Bulls.
