2017 Champions

Capped by one of the most remarkable comebacks in NFL postseason history, the New England Patriots captured their 5th Lombardi Trophy in franchise history during last night's game. Members of the Octagon family, guard Teddy Karras and strong safety Patrick Chung, were crucial to the Patriots’ championship-winning season. This was Chung’s second championship victory with the team while Karras earns a championship ring in his rookie season.

Myles Jack

Selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 36th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Myles is poised for a big NFL career. While at UCLA, he was a two-time Second Team All-Pac-12 selection (2013 and 2014) as well as the first player to be named both the Offensive and Defensive Freshman of the year in the Pac-12 in 2013. Myles is well connected to his UCLA fan base and is an active participant with the Bruin Fan Alliance. Off the field, Myles is an avid dog lover with three pups of his own: Keisha, Esco, and Lola.

Emmitt Smith

A Pro Football Hall of Fame running back and three-time Super Bowl Champion, Emmitt Smith is the NFL’s all-time leading rusher with 18,355 yards in 15 NFL seasons. He is the only running back in NFL history to win the Super Bowl, Super Bowl MVP award and NFL MVP award in the same season (1993). Since his retirement, Emmitt has been a football analyst for ESPN, won the third season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (2006), became a sought-after public speaker, founded the Pat and Emmitt Smith Charities and is the President and CEO of Emmitt Smith Enterprises.

Marvin Lewis

Entering his 14th season leading the Cincinnati Bengals, Marvin is the longest tenured head coach in franchise history. He has led the Bengals to the post season in five of the last six years, including four straight. Marvin is a relentless philanthropist, founding the Marvin Lewis Community Fund in 2003. Since its inception, the Community Fund has focused on empowering youth education and has raised over 9.2 million dollars and impacted thousands of individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Patrick Chung

The Super Bowl XLIX Champion and strong safety for the New England Patriots has totaled 468 tackles and 8 interceptions in his seven years in the NFL. During the 2015-2016 season, head coach Bill Belichick called Chung “one of the best tacklers that I’ve had at safety.” Chung is active within the Greater Boston community, founding the Chung Changing Lives Foundation dedicated to supporting the personal and academic development of young boys and girls. Chung enjoys cooking as well as making music and being a dad to his son Taj.
