SINGAPORE – Octagon, the leading international marketing agency with a specialism in sport and culture, has confirmed the arrival of Joanne Warnes as Agency Director, Singapore.
Reporting to Aykan Azar, Managing Director SEA, Warnes joins Octagon at a time of sustained growth for the agency, stepping in to a critical leadership position to head up all local agency operations, oversight of major clients Mastercard and Standard Chartered Bank, and with a remit to drive new business.
Adding to a strong start in 2019, the agency also announces a win with Grab, a Singapore based technology company offering ride hailing, food delivery and payment solutions for the region, and which recently acquired Uber Southeast Asia.
Warnes comes from Havas Sport and Entertainment where, as COO of their UK business, she spent nine years working with some of the world’s biggest brands including Barclays Wanda and Coca-Cola, and most iconic sports properties from the ATP World Tour Finals to the FIFA World Cup.
