Richmond, VA (December 12, 2016) – Octagon, a global sports and entertainment leader, today announced the signing of rising golf talent Paige Spiranac to a full representation agreement.
Spiranac has combined her passion for golf and engaging personality to establish a new wave of emerging digital content projects in an effort to help grow the game among the millennial audience. Since turning professional, Spiranac’s ability to connect with fans has drawn interests from a wide range of sponsors and content platforms. She has secured partnerships with Callaway Golf, Topgolf, and fronts Descente’s women’s line of golf apparel.
“Paige is able to inspire and connect with a new wave of millennials by using her various talents in both golf and digital content production,” said Jeremy Aisenberg, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Octagon. “She possesses a dynamic and engaging personality that resonates with both new and casual fans of the sport, and we believe she is poised for a bright future.”
With a social media footprint of more than one million fans and counting, Spiranac’s impact on the game was captured in a Golf Digest cover story (May 2016) in recognition of her rising digital content capabilities that have made a positive impact in attracting non-traditional golf audiences.
“I have many goals that I’d like to achieve, blending my love of golf and my passion for showing how much fun it can be,” said Spiranac. “I feel that the experience and capabilities that Jeremy and Octagon have are a great fit for me, and I am excited to take this next step forward in my career and help inspire the next generation of golfers.”
Spiranac, 23, recently captured her first professional victory on the Cactus Tour at Orange Tree Golf Resort with a 68 on her final round. A two-time captain of the San Diego State University women’s golf team, she helped guide the Lady Aztecs to the 2015 Mountain West Championships. She additionally won the 100th edition of the Colorado Women’s Match Play event in 2015.
