McLean, Va. (September 5, 2018)Octagon, the global sports and entertainment marketing leader, is proud to announce the staging of an ATP 250 event in Cordoba, Argentina, a city that has a long history and passion for the sport of tennis. Octagon will stage the event in collaboration with Torneos.

The first tournament edition will be held in February of 2019 to kick off the ATP South American clay court season. Cordoba already hosts a wide variety of international events, concerts, conferences and sporting events, including FIFA World Cup qualification matches.

“In partnership with Torneos, we look forward to establishing this event as a world-class 250 on the ATP calendar,” said Octagon SVP Jorge Salkeld. “With exquisite hotels and cuisine options for both visitors and players, Cordoba is the perfect city to expand the ATP’s presence in Argentina.”
