Stamford, Conn. – January 21, 2021 – Minorities in Sports Business (MiS) today announced that Lou Kovacs, President of Marketing North America, Octagon, and Cristina Ackas, Vice President of Inclusive Diversity, Octagon Sports & Entertainment Network (OSEN), have been appointed to serve on the organization’s 2021 Advisory Board.
Designed to serve as a primary resource for diverse business individuals in the sports industry, the Minorities in Sports Business network aims to support, connect, provide insight, and offer a competitive advantage to more than 1,000 professionals across the sports industry.
The advisory board was created to help advance the mission of MiS by redefining and reimagining sports as a more equitable industry. In their new posts on the board, Kovacs and Ackas will join eight other leaders across the sports industry to help build MiS and its members into a more diverse, stronger, and more connected sports business.
