Octagon Takes Home Two Golds, Two Silvers, and One Bronze for Work with Mastercard at Annual Chief Marketer PRO Awards
Stamford, Conn. – September 3, 2020 – Octagon and Mastercard were named winners in five categories at the 2020 Chief Marketer PRO Awards.
The agency and client collaboration took home the Gold Award for “Best Integrated Campaign”, for innovative work on the Player of the Match (POTM) Live Trophy at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Octagon and sister agency R&CPMK also earned top honors for “Best Digital/Social Campaign”, for work with Mastercard on the League of Legends esports campaign.
In addition, Octagon and Mastercard also won Silver Awards in the “Best Sports Sponsorship or Tie-In” and “Best Use of Event or Experiential Marketing” categories for the POTM Live Trophy, as well as a Bronze Award in the “Best Use of Video” category, for the League of Legends campaign .
The PRO Awards are widely regarded among the world’s leading recognition for excellence in brand activation and promotion marketing. Chosen by a panel of judges from a wide swath of specialties across the world of marketing, Octagon’s work with Mastercard on multiple projects was selected based on the ingenuity and measurable impact with respect to the goals set forth at the start of the campaign.
