STAMFORD, Conn. - January 6, 2020 - Futures Sport & Entertainment, the industry leading provider of data and analysis for the sports media and fan landscape, announced today that Norris Scott has been named Senior Vice President. In the role, Scott will oversee North American business operations for Futures, and lead all sports media measurement, brand exposure analytics efforts, modeling, and thought leadership, with more than 30 league, team and brand clients. Scott will report to Simon Wardle, Chief Strategy Officer, Octagon Worldwide.

“Norris has a deep expertise of the sports data and analytics landscape, and he has built an exceptional track record of successfully leading data-driven strategy and creative campaigns for clients and partners,” said Wardle. “His knowledge and understanding of the industry, and long-standing relationships with leagues, teams, networks, and Fortune 500 brands, will be a perfect complement to our growing agency.”

Scott joins Futures from NASCAR, where he spent 13 years in executive management roles, most recently as Vice President of Analytics & Insights. In that role, Scott was responsible for leading the league’s Analytics & Insights division, including managing the measurement and monetization of social and digital media, broadcast, traditional consumer and category research, fan engagement, and sponsorship valuation. In addition, Scott helped cultivate insights and provide strategic guidance across a range of different business channels for the league, tracks, teams, and sponsors.

During his tenure at NASCAR, Scott also led the Partnership Marketing Department, which was charged with generating revenue, developing assets and managing relationships with major sponsors. While in that position, Scott helped transform NASCAR’s sponsorship offerings using data and new sponsorship valuations.

Before joining NASCAR, Scott held sales and marketing roles at ESPN, the NFL, and ABC Sports, with a focus on sponsorship sales for NFL, College Football, and Triple Crown.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from Ithaca College.
