Lizi Hamer Honored as a Creative LeaderAwards, Singapore, Australia, UK, APAC
Congratulations are in order to our fabulous Asia Pacific Creative Director Lizi Hamer!
After being shortlisted for not one, but two awards at Campaign’s Women Leading Change Awards, Lizi was awarded as one of four Creative Leaders in Asia.
This award is given to inspirational women whose work and ideas have generated consumer excitement through top-of-class creative thinking. She was also nominated in the Technology Leader category.
As Octagon’s Creative Director in the APAC region, Lizi is tasked with creating work that earns the right attention on behalf of her clients. In 2016, she did just that, spearheading two award-winning campaigns. Dove+Men’s #StrengthToCare campaign, which featured Wallabies rugby player David Pocock and challenged outdated perceptions of masculinity in society, was the only campaign to win two Entertainment Spikes. Standard Chartered Bank’s Inside Anfield campaign, which gives Liverpool fans across the world an extraordinary look at the club’s iconic stadium through VR, was honored as the Most Engaging Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality Work at the Mumbrella Asia Awards. Regional media often taps into Lizi’s marketing and creative expertise. She appeared on Australia’s popular marketing and advertising television show Gruen, and was featured as one of twelve women thriving as creative directors in APAC by Mumbrella.
