STAMFORD, CT (January 25, 2018) - Octagon, a global sports and entertainment marketing leader, announces several promotions within the North American Marketing and Events team facilitated by significant organic growth across experiential marketing, creative and digital services.

Matt Malichio, Senior Vice President, Creative Director. The 13-year agency veteran leads Octagon’s creative team, focused on experiential and content ideas grounded in consumer insight, brand strategy and fan passion. For over a decade, Malichio and his team have developed and executed ideas for a wide range of brands including Bank of America, Budweiser, Delta Air Lines, JBL, Johnson & Johnson, PlayStation and Taco Bell.

Meredith Kinsman, Vice President of Digital Strategy – From analytics to social influencers, content marketing and paid content, Kinsman leads digital strategy and experiential initiatives for a wide selection of Octagon’s consulting and marketing clients. Kinsman has been recognized among the Top Women in Digital by Cynopsis Media, and spoke at SportsBusiness Journal’s 2017 Sports Marketing Symposium.

Lindsay Wynalek, Vice President – Wynalek currently manages Octagon’s work on behalf of client Harman/JBL overseeing the brand’s NBA partnership, including branded content development, hospitality and athlete influencer programs.

Kelly Duffy, Group Director – A nine-year veteran of Octagon, Duffy has been instrumental in the agency’s work on behalf of long-time client Cisco across a wide variety of sports and entertainment partnerships including the NBA, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Tokyo 2020.

Sarah Masters, Group Director – At Octagon for nearly nine years, Sarah manages the partnership designed to deliver the messages of Kaiser Permanente’s Total Health mission to NBA enthusiasts through NBA-themed health tips, community programs, NBA FIT events and the annual Total Health Forum.

Adam Polansky, Group Director – Based in Octagon’s New York City office, Polansky creates digital experiences for Octagon’s brand clients, managing a team of user experience designers, developers and producers to lead all aspects of digital production from concept creation to product launch.

Elizabeth (Bitty) Ritchie, Group Director – Coming up on her five-and-a-half-year anniversary at Octagon, Ritchie’s expertise across CRM and strategic analysis is highly valued on the BMW team, using data-driven insights to inform and guide BMW's experiential marketing strategy. 

Michael Taft, Senior Sales Director –Taft has been at Octagon for nearly five years, where he has helped to grow the agency’s Events operations business and drive sponsorship sales across a portfolio that included four LPGA tournaments and two Champions Tour events in 2017.

Melissa Woltman, Group Director – Melissa helps lead Octagon’s efforts on behalf of client Bank of America, with a focus on client engagement programming in the Golf, Entertainment and Signature Events spaces. In her 12+ years with the agency, Melissa has driven the execution of best-in-class programs while building trusted, long-term client relationships.
