Rising American Star Kayla Day Joins Octagon TennisPress Releases, Tennis
McLean, VA (Jan. 5, 2017) – Global sports and entertainment leader Octagon announced the signing of 2016 US Open Junior Champion Kayla Day to an exclusive worldwide representation agreement. Day will be represented by Alex Sohaili.

A native of Santa Barbara, CA, Day is the youngest player ranked inside the WTA top 200. The 17-year-old won the 2016 US Open Junior Girls Championships and reached the second round of the 2016 US Open. After the US Open, the USTA Girls’ 18s National Champion earned the USTA Australian Open Wild Card challenge by winning the Macon 50k and reaching the semifinals in the Scottsdale 50k. Day will compete in the Main Draw of the 2017 Australian Open Championships.

In September 2016, the Southern California native reached No. 1 overall in the ITF junior rankings and finished the year at No. 3 overall.
