OCTAGON ANNOUNCES NEW NORTH AMERICAN MARKETING LEADERSHIP

NORWALK, CT (November 1, 2016) – Octagon, a global sports and entertainment marketing leader, is proud to announce a new North American marketing leadership structure, elevating four of its own industry veterans. John Shea, who was appointed President of the Marketing and Events business across the Americas earlier this year, has re-engineered his team to reflect the agency’s focus on helping its brand clients create opportunities across the complicated sports landscape.

Derek Aframe & Arnold Wright – Executive Vice Presidents, Co-Heads of Consulting - With more than 30 years of combined experience working directly with the agency’s largest brand clients, Derek and Arnold bring both the experience and the insight to lead Octagon’s client partners and a team of +400 across the U.S. 

Lou Kovacs – Executive Vice President, CMO North America – Kovacs will continue to manage a portion of Octagon’s clients while overseeing Octagon’s award-winning creative, digital and content practice. Additionally, he will lead the new business process and marketing of Octagon’s consulting, experiential and event services in the region.

André Schunk – Executive Vice President, Mindset & Culture – While continuing to oversee a diverse account portfolio, André will focus on helping all of Octagon’s clients understand key consumer, commercial, and technology trends and craft solutions that anticipate and meet the needs of Millennial and Gen Z audiences.
