As an official partner of the LA Lakers, Octagon client Delta Air Lines recognized that the Lakers - in a post-Kobe era - are filled with rising stars passionate about more than just their NBA dreams, and that their fellow Angelenos share many of those passions.
Armed with that insight, Delta integrated their team partnership into the brand’s local “Dream Up, LA” campaign by creating unique collaborations between Lakers Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram and local fans chasing their own dreams. The campaign – which features digital and broadcast content, sweepstakes and live events – showcases Delta enabling local artists and designers to make their dreams a reality while offering Clarkson and Ingram the opportunity to express their passion for style and art.
Octagon basketball client Jordan Clarkson has a growing passion for fashion, so Delta teamed him up with fashion designer Chris Stamp. The campaign brings the fan inside the collaboration and shows how Chris shares his perspective on fashion design and his journey to create his own label. The ‘Beyond the Court’ program was recently selected as a Top 3 Finalist for the NBA Partnership of the Year Award. Check out the story from Delta and Octagon below!
Off the court, Brandon Ingram is an artist at heart. Delta connected him with local LA street artist and mentor, Jonas Never, to design and create a one of a kind mural. Fans can watch as Jonas guides Brandon through his creative process and each share what inspires them in this piece created by Octagon.
