Octagon’s David Schwab Debuts “Beyond High Street” Podcast

Our Work, Media

Octagon Executive Vice President and celebrity marketing expert David Schwab launches the BeyondHighStreet.com podcast, featuring interviews with Miami University alumni discussing how their experiences in Oxford, Ohio, helped propel them to successful business, marketing, sports, entertainment and media careers.

The weekly podcast taps the diverse and successful Miami alumni network to talk about the lessons they learned in Oxford, and how they employ them to this day. Schwab takes his guests beyond High Street to understand their professional paths and work across a wide range of industries and roles including brand marketing, business, finance, sports and entertainment. The stories will extend to the beauty of campus, the times uptown and the lifelong connections forged.

Beyond High Street launches with four episodes each featuring a different alum:

The Miz / Global WWE Superstar

Jay Livingston / Bark CMO; Angel Investor

Jenny Rooney / Editor of the Forbes CMO Network; Cradle of Marketers Creator

Kyle Schlegel / Wilson Sporting Goods Global Marketing Director

And in the following two weeks it will include interviews with Miami alum Octagon Chairman & CEO Rick Dudley, Beam Suntory CMO Rebecca Messina and NBC Olympics Hockey play-by-play announcer John Walton.
