Micky Lawler, head of Octagon’s worldwide Tennis division, began working at Octagon in 1988. She speaks five languages fluently and has lived all over the world, allowing her to constantly communicate on a global scale to better the game of tennis. In her first years at the company, she put this global expertise to use and helped open Octagon offices in London and Paris.
Before coming to Octagon, Lawler graduated from American College in Paris with a degree in Political Science and a Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation degree from the University of Delaware. She then spent several years as the Communications Directors of the Men’s International Professional Tennis Council.
Later, Micky earned her Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Delaware. She currently sits on the Sony-Ericsson Women’s Tennis Association Board of Directors where she plays a vital role in player relations and establishing philanthropic initiatives for the WTA.
